I grew up in Spamtown, USA. I've been to all the festivals and most importantly, I've been to the museum.
More times that I can count.
One of my all time favorite biilboards was just east of "Spam Town" on I-90 during the summer a few years back. It read:
"Not All Hogs Make it to Sturgis. Visit the Spam Museum"

Update: all gone.
No. Most hogs get killed in Austin. I used to work in HR at the plant. You wouldn't believe the number of candidates that dropped after a visit to the kill floor. Hahahaha!
The billboard was talking about another kind of hog: the Harley Davidson
