Finally, intelligence

“For Glenn Beck to devote 45 minutes of his show to ACORN and Van Jones says more about his news judgment than mine,” Baquet told POLITICO. “He’s not a newsman and that’s not a news show. He’s not trying to cover the economy, two wars, health care, the aftermath from one administration to another, negotiations with Iran or North Korea.”

Washington Bureau Chief Dean Baquet of The New York Times

Captain Crab's Thought (s) of the Day

Living out here in the country there is not a lot of traffic past our house on the gravel road. A couple of farmers, the guy who lives down the road, and the mail lady. Someday I am going to forget what time it is and be standing there in my boxers when she delivers the mail.

God is Great, beer is good and people are crazy.

C & W Song by Billy Cirrington
I watched "The Big Lebowski" last night while the H attended "Lebowski Fest" in Minneapolis.

I have been very stressed lately.

I never thought that I would make it to thirty, let alone fifty eight!

Quote of the Day

"He's become the new Sarah Palin of the Republican Party, where one's popularity is in inverse proportion to one's stupidity -- the stupider a Republican is these days the more popular he or she becomes."

Bruce Bartlett, former Reagan adviser and treasury official under George Bush Sr.
