Some may wonder why there are pictures of old barns, farmsteads, cattle, horses and the occasional sheep* and nothing having to do with new things here in the Midwest. One picture should help you understand:
I find the above farmstead, with it's new "suburban" style home and huge grain bins, bloody boring. Why one would build a house on top of a hill (with nothing to look at but corn and soybean fields, face it to the north, and not plant any trees is beyond my imagination.
*sociologists and the H like sheep.

That's not just boring. It's stupid. I guess those people needed a huge house to guard their grain bins. Gag.
