So...not doing that "compassionate conservatism" thing anymore, then?
I never really bought the whole "compassionate conservatism" thing either.
My aunt was a teacher many years ago here in Canada. She said quite a few kids came with no lunch and hadn't had breakfast. We have to help these children; yes they have either neglectful or poverty-stricken parents, but should we not help because of that?
Some things are just right to do and we must do them.
