Poor dude just didn't want his cruise to end. Though I couldn't wait for mine to be over. To each his own.
Kind of like The Dread Pirate Roberts; I asked her several months ago to dock at a secret location, so I could tke over running my ship. She hasn't returned one text message since. She's having a "wonderful cruise" I suspect. The ship is probably in the bloddy South Pacific for all I know.
