I'm sorry, but how have voters in his district failed to notice he's totally insane?
No, I don't think they have or will. His is the "whitest" and most conservative in Iowa. It lies along the western part of the state.
We once had a nominee for Sec of Ag (I could be wrong) from NW Iowa that said the reason his area of the state was doing so well was the: lack of people who don't have the same values as we do, or something to that effect.
